“Run For Your Life” Zombie Crawl 1K/5K Run or Walk

GRAB THOSE COSTUMES AND CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO RUN OR WALK TO CELEBRATE WELLNESS THIS OCTOBER!

Be one of the brave runners at Lions Park this October 22, 2022 to take on the challenge of crawling Zombies and the important issue of bullying awareness and prevention. This FREE event aims to bring the community together to support bully prevention and related social issues that include suicide prevention and honor those who have been affected or those that we have lost to death by suicide.

DESCRIPTION
All ages are welcome! We are excited to offer a 5k and 1k option that you can run or walk. Join Strong Families Strong Wyoming (SFSW) and Wyoming Families First (WFF) for this fun FREE event with the important purpose to support anti-bullying and suicide prevention services in YOUR local community. *View Map of Race and Registration Area at bottom of form.

ZOMBIE FUN WALK, CREEP, CRAWL
Calling all zombies to “rise up” and stomp out bullying! A family fun event filled with zombies that walk, creep, and crawl after race participants. To survive one must run or walk to maneuver their way through the zone. Do you want to run without the stress of ensuing zombies? Indicator belts will be provided to those identifying as immune to the zombie outbreak! Pick up a belt the day of the race at start-up.

COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED!

PATICIPANT RESOURCES
The first 15 participants to register will receive a FREE t-shirt the day of the race. You will be notified by a follow up email from the registration form to indicate t-shirt size. Options to purchase t-shirts will be provided at the race start-up. All participants will receive a 1k or 5k race completion lanyard award.

At race start-up the day of October 22, 2022, pick up a “Running in Honor of” bib to wear and honor someone you love! Also feel free to download the image provided below to print your own bib or email us at info@sfsw.org to receive a downloadable jpeg/pdf.

There will be volunteer walkers who will follow the trail until all runners/walkers have crossed the finish line. If you do not feel well and need transportation back to the starting line, do not hesitate to speak with one of these volunteers about your needs.

After getting in your morning exercise at the 5k, stick around for some free refreshments and pick up a packet of bullying & suicide prevention and awareness resources with some fun Halloween goodies! Grace For 2 Brothers Foundation will be handing out suicide awareness & prevention resources as well.
